Fuego Camina Conmigo is a strategic and creative agency that wanted to open its new headquarters to materialize its values in a space. The project consists of the rehabilitation of a local on the third floor of an industrial building in the neighborhood of Gracia. A rectangular floor plan full of details and original architectural elements with windows on three facades. The program consisted of an area of meeting rooms and services such as kitchen, bathrooms, and storage, an Agora area where the necessary dynamism was sought to use it as a space for informal meetings or calls. In turn, also for presentations or exhibitions and a fixed work area for 44 people.
The zoning of the space was in this sense with respect to the entrance, the more private area at the back so that it would be more private and protected. The Agora area in the center as a square and the service area at the entrance as transitional architecture protecting the interior. We were looking for a space as open and dynamic as possible, avoiding the typical glass enclosures of the office world. Thus the closed spaces were conceived as small micro architectures that dialogued with each other and created a sculptural landscape of cubes with circular openings generating doors and windows through which light circulates and evokes a world of art and creation. Each architectural module is thought of as a small sculpture that in turn compositionally relates to the other rooms.
The first decision was to clear the room of all existing partitions to recover the original structure, thus revealing the true volume of the space. The need for a differentiated space and the rectangular shape of the architecture allowed us to easily divide the space into three sections. The first zone at the entrance is composed of a storage area, the restrooms and the meeting rooms. In this area the micro-architecture of the concept is materialized. Each room has a different height, width and length to emphasize the concept of sculpture.
There are five different meeting rooms. A large one for 12 people that runs along the front of the space. And four more private rooms are located next to it. The openings and windows in each room are designed to optimize the maximum amount of light. And when viewed as an entity, the rooms offer a unique perspective of the space, creating a dynamic intervention. The different heights highlight not only the height of the space, but make the existing metal beams visible. The furniture in each space was carefully chosen in collaboration with the Spanish furniture company Sancal. With a neutral color palette that complements the space, the client and the environment.
In the same area to the left there is a series of spaces used as fast calls. Between the architectural forms and the application of colored light, we wanted to evoke one of James Turrell's artistic lighting spaces. The kitchen is also a multipurpose space, with capacity for 30 people as it is also used as a training room. With three tables made to measure by “Fusteria Vidal”, with rounded edges at the feet. The stools are other pieces by Sancal. With black structure and natural wood seat, to complement the space. A fully equipped space, to relax and at the same time can be used as a meeting space. The entrance is marked by a large circular opening, with sliding glass doors. The color palette is kept white like the rest of the space. Including the tile countertops and the finish of the cabinets. With a rounded handle detail that matches the rest of the curved architecture of the space.

The architecture of the kitchen is detailed with more openings, at the foot of the walls or next to the windows, to continue the game of increasing the amount of light entering the space, and creating small windows that from the outside frame the details of the interior space.

The Agora area is the most versatile space of the project. Two large mobile metal stands structure the space, where islands are generated from colored carpets where Sancal sofas, tables and armchairs are grouped for improvised meetings. Each island is treated with a pastel color and the fabrics selected for the furniture are in accordance with the chosen color.
The last space is the most private, with four large tables custom designed and built by “Fusteria Vidal” with capacity for eleven people each. The table that follows the sculptural concept is composed of a white top with a circular detail at one end supported by two mirror blocks. All the lighting of the project has been resolved with C4 LEDs. Both the recessed lighting of the rooms and the rails and spotlights of the Agora space and the lighting of the work area above the tables with the Tubs model designed by Nahtrang Studio. The furniture chosen from Sancal is Remnant, Vestige, Dividuals, Diwan, Totem, Click and Roll, as well as other unique products such as Tortuga, Magnum, Nido, Silla40, Vesper, Pion and Tab.
